Description:

Potamogeton wrightii is very widely spread in East and South-East Asia. It grows submersed, and - though rarely - is known to form floating leaves. This Potamogeton occurs in various stagnant and flowing waters, mainly with hard alkaline water.
At least in the year 1954 this plant was imported several times from various Asian countries under different names as aquarium plant.
