The name Hygrophila angustifolia applies to different plants:
- In trade, a very narrow-leaved plant from the group of Hygrophila corymbosa is erroneously called H. angustifolia. Please see Hygrophila corymbosa “angustifolia”.
- True Hygrophila angustifolia in the botanical sense does not belong to the group around H. corymbosa and is probably not even in cultivation. It is sometimes considered a synonym of Hygrophila salicifolia or a variety of that species (H. salicifolia var. angustifolia).
