Hello,

My second post here is an introduction. My name is Gilles, 29 years old and i am from the Netherlands. I have been in the hobby about 5 years now. In this time i got involved with RedField Ratio etc. Because the products where not available online i decided to start selling KNO3/KH2PO4/K2SO4. Besides that i also sell Iron Gluconate (Fe2), CSM+B and Flourish Excel look a like. This is all non commercial just to support my hobby.

Thank you for all your replies, please talk in german, i can read that but i can't write it with all those ü characters etc :lol:

The only thing i did not built myself is the tank, and the profilux III off course. When i still had a sump i had it whisper quiet. Everybody who visited me did not realise i had a sump (it did not make ANY noise ) If you guys are interested, i can see if i can translate that into english also.

For now i am having big growth issues. My Blyxa Japonica, is not getting higher then 4-5cm. I am lowering my light and have a PAR meter inhouse so i can now see what my PAR values are. I am thinking of stopping with Flourish Excel to see if that maybe affects my plants in a bad way. Dosing and NO3/PO4 is all perfectly in balance, so that can't be the issue. The issue is either light or CO2 related... who knows...

Some guys tell me that if they grow Staurogyne sp. that the entire tank should be filled in a month. Now i have it growing for 2 months and still it is not covering the floor. So i am guessing light/co2 and/or micro's or a combination of both... Maybe you guys can help me with that. I am only good with technical stuff :bonk:

First pics, some hair algue which i can't seem to get rid of although i am dosing 20ml flourish / day. Installed a new 30ppm calibrated drop checker (4dKH) to measure my co2, see if i can up it a bit.. Just cleaned my windows when i made this pic, so water is not as clear as it should be.
