    Bolbitis sp. "Gua Angin"

So Crepidomanes Auriculatum should be also from a family of Bolbitis, because it has also a "little round things" on the outer side of leaves?

    Bolbitis sp. "Gua Angin"

what do you mean : not turning dark when submerged. I observed this what do you wrote, but it not only applies to mature leaves, also sometimes the young leaves if they change the environment. Leaves could stop growing and turn brown. That's the same also Bolbitis Cuspidata and Difformis...

    Fissidens grandifrons

in fact, Grandifrons grows slowly. But I hadn't also the best conditions, and the starting branches were small. As for those previous Fissidens (Geminiflorus etc.), they are already submmrsed and grow under water for a long time.

    Fissidens grandifrons

I do not want to create another thread, because what I want to show is an unidentified species and comes from the hands of a collector. The same collector is not able to determine why are such a names. Perhaps it comes from the place of growing. Fissidens Geminiflorus "Nagasaki", wider than...

    Fissidens grandifrons

In the spring I will put samples of this mosses in the court (in my work I have good conditions for mosses). Until the spring we'll see how these mosses grow underwater, if they will still growing like now, then will be a good sign that this mosses are good for the aquarium. After that i will...

    Fissidens grandifrons

Thanks for the list. I will check it. I did not know that there is so much variety. When I collected this mosses in Croatia, I thought that it may collect maybe two different species. Looked very similar in nature. Now, as they grow under water, I can see the difference and it seems to me that I...

    Bucephalandra-new species

I wish to recall here that bucephalandra does not like water warmer than the 28st. I suspect that it is not true for all varieties. In Poland we have heat now (30 degrees ). I have Bucephalandras in two tanks. One is cooling and the temp is 25 degrees in the heat, usually is 22 degrees at normal...

    Bucephalandra sp. "Kayu lapis"

Sumpfheini you are right, it is different kind of Kayu Lapis. My is Kayu Lapis1, it has grown on the river. It has small, long, curly leaves. I know that in nature small bucephalandra usually grows on river, but the big kinds grows on the water, and big bucephalandra goes under water for a...
