Anubias "White"

Hi,

ich habe 5 Anubia whites und keine davon sieht der Pinto ähnlich, weder in Blattform, noch in der Größe und die Blätter meiner White sind komplett weiß.

Hello Vasteq,
cool, that illustrates the differences very well. So it appears that they differ primarily by the leaf size, while the variegation looks alike.

The leaves of the "White" are apparently smaller than customary A. barteri var. nana "Petite" or "Bonsai". Is there also a fully green (not variegated) Anubias with extremely small leaves like that?

Hallo Heiko,

ja Andy (-serok-) hat so eine mini Anubias mit winzigen Blättern, die er mal durch Zufall erhalten hat (als Anubias nana "petite").
Beschreibt er hier im Beitrag.
Aus den Bildern würde ich schließen, dass Andys Anubias sogar noch kleiner ist als die von Vasteq.

Hallo Stefan, danke für den Hinweis. Habe eben auf APC einen Thread über eine Anubias "Micro" gefunden. Ob die das Gleiche ist wie Andys Zwergen-Anubias - wer weiß.

I'm not sure if it is a micro plant if I see a photo of plant with only a few leaves. It may be as well only young plant not to be able to release full-sized mature leaves yet. Such plants should be kept for at least a one year and then we can tell is it really micro variety or just undeveloped bigger variety. I have from few years Schismatoglottis Roseospatha and it still looks like mini grass
