New species, belong to the tribe Philodendrae of Aroidae. Established in 1879 by Mr. N. E. Brown in the Gardener's Chronicle.

How long you have it? I have it for less than a month and grow one big leaf (this shine green one), underwater of course

I think, Andre's plant No. 1 is Piptospatha ridleyi, too:

Andre wrote in the thread that the plant in his tank wastes away without CO2 addition, but with CO2 it develops ca. 1 leaf per week (!).
I've already seen the plant years ago in pet shops in Germany.

Hallo,

ich hol den Thread mal hoch.
Die Pflanze wurde mir sehr netter Weise aus Malaysia mitgebracht. Allerdings ein wenig schmalblättriger als auf den Fotos hier. Ich denke, es ist eine sehr gute Pflanze für Wabikusa oder aus dem Aquarium ragende Steine und Wurzeln. Nasser Fuß wird bei mir auf Stein oder Welshöhle gebunden und sogar direkt auf Torf ohne Murren und Knurren vertragen.
